In 1985, in order to successfully service the U.S. market, Calko moved part of its Canadian operation to Milton, Vermont, naming it Green Mountain Knitting. In the decades that have followed, GMK, under the corporate name of Calko Group and at the new location of Swanton, Vermont since 2022, has become one of the largest knit trim manufacturers in North America. This tremendous growth and success can be attributed to constant innovation, ongoing research and development, high-quality products and competitive pricing.
